ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Meet Lauren, OWNER & PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
As a native Texan, Lauren grew up in a small town and discovered early on her creative abilities. She loved being outdoors, dreaming up possibilities and regularly tagged along with her dad working in his shop with tools. Although frequently rearranging the interior furnishings of her parents' house and her friends' bedrooms seemed normal to Lauren, it was apparent she had a unique ability for understanding spatial design as a youth.
Initially her career choice included connecting with people through counseling or social work until a fire destroyed their home's kitchen during her Junior year of high school. Working alongside contractors and guiding the renovation to fruition, her natural ability to understand and envision a space's potential shined again helping her to realize her true passion for design.
Lauren earned her degree in Interior Design and Technology, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Texas State University in 2011 and began working in custom residential interiors. She joined a firm specializing in model home merchandising, gaining over a decade of experience in new build construction and mastering furnishings procurement. This unique experience allowed her to create original designs for several notable projects, winning awards both locally and nationally.
She has a love for traveling and is a self-proclaimed Caribbean beach bum! Experiencing the crystal clear water, powdery sand and coastal architecture has contributed to the "ease" felt throughout her designs. She believes a home should enhance the quality of your life by creating meaningful spaces that are remarkably simple.
Lauren is the principal designer and founder of SALTED INTERIORS, LLC. She is a nationally certified NCIDQ Registered Designer and holds her Registered Interior Design licensure granted by the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners.
FIERCE & ON FIRE
WALK CONFIDENTLY IN YOUR PURPOSE
"Design is deeply personal. We're talking about your home, your safe space, your retreat from the outside. I'm against imposing a look on a space and always listen to client needs. It is only then I can provide creative solutions for a functional space--a space that is truly you."
